Germán Muñoz (centre), an agricultural engineer who runs the Terroir 34 enterprise with wines from Rueda and Ribera del Duero, was last week-end appointed an “honorary confrérie member” during the latest gathering of the Bordeaux Wine Confrérie (Jurade de St. Emilion) in France.
62 people from all round the world were “enthroned” at the event and Muñoz was the only Spaniard to win this recognition, awarded for his specialist work on soils and terroirs.
